About us

Alan West Brockman, Funbassador

17 years ago, Alan left a job in investment banking to make a documentary on the Flora-Bama Lounge and the songwriters who make it a special place.  He then co-founded the North Delta Music Project which produced live music events in downtown Monroe on the Ouachita River, as well as the Downtown Gallery Crawls which continue today.

In pursuit of the dream, he moved to Nashville and created a touring concert series.  Along the way he met numerous regional promoters, musicians, and venue owners who help make this endeavor successful.

After returning to Monroe from Nashville, Alan produced a series of events at his family barn where they featured live music, food, and artists – the North Delta Ramble.  Broadcast on PBS in Louisiana and Mississippi, these events spotlighted north Louisiana culture and promoted regional artists.

Alan is passionate about creating events that bring people together through food, music, art, and fun.
